Feeding the hungry

caring for orphans

wITH HEARTS TO SERVE

Since December of 2004, we have made over 75 mission trips from Venice, Florida to Juarez, Mexico.  Never sensing a call on our lives to be a large mission organization, we have focused on one area located on the far western outskirts of Juarez.  This impoverished area has our hearts.  For 19 years, in an area known as Kilometre 28, our organization has operated a Feeding Program.  Although we have had numerous Food distribution outreaches in other areas of Juarez, this area has been the main ministry center and heart of Hearts Without Borders.

Out of dire need, and clear plans that God has been preparing us and our staff for the "next step", an orphanage dormitory was built on the property.   At least 42 children are now under our care.  Over the years, we have formed everlasting relationships with many of those we have served and served with.   The joy that we receive is immeasurable.  We are so blessed to have had many others come with us over the years.

THANK YOU FOR CARING and sharing!

MEETING BASIC NEEDS YEAR ROUND

Annually we host several important events for the children.  In August (pictured here) each child receives a backpack, school supplies, new school shoes, underwear, clothing and school registration (most would not attend if they were prepared with these basic items).  In the summer, our Vacation Bible School week is a wonderful week of fun, arts & crafts, daily nutritious meals (with special treats), the Gospel shared in music and drama, and a barbeque/pool party to end the week.   Of course, each December, God's love is shown to these children through our Annual (since 2004) children's Christmas Fiesta.  Each child receives an age appropriate gift, a warm coat (winters are COLD in Juarez and it often snows!), hats and mittens (or gloves), activities, jumping balloons (rented) and they hear about the true meaning of CHRISTmas.
